Really happy to to show you all the 2nd instalment of the Wall Of Sound Sessions – Studio videos recorded completely live, with no editing, overdubs or automation… This is as close as you can get to seeing a band live without leaving your La-Z-Boy 😉
This months session features Edinburgh’s progressive, post metal masters Somaesthesia performing exclusive tracks from their new album which is still in progress.

Somaesthesia – Path Of Least Resistance

Last May I recorded the debut EP for Edinburgh metal band, Somaesthesia. They are a really great band combining elements of post-rock, prog & just straight up heavy metal to great effect.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with the band & hope to do so again in the future!
In the meantime though the EP was mastered by James Plotkin and is now scheduled for a March release through Infinite Hive Music.

I had the pleasure of recording and mixing the debut EP for Edinburgh band Somaesthesia this summer. It has now been mastered by James Plotkin and the finished article is an incredible introduction to this great band!
